Marvin has spent his life working towards one main goal: to help others and make a difference in this world. He is a motivator, speaker, and change-maker who concentrates on areas such as diversity, inclusion, and self-perseverance. Through his years of experience in multiple industries and fields, Marvin has curated the material he needs to share powerful and meaningful stories with others to spark change.

Marvin has been a part of various organizations, such as the Better Business Bureau, where he was an integral part in growing their sales and memberships, and JE Dunn Construction, where he was a significant contributor to creating their national award-winning DEI program.

Throughout his working experiences, Marvin has earned many recognitions such as the Ace Award, Community Champion, Top 40 in Their 40s Business and Community Leader, Top Contractors for Diversity (Kansas City), Innovation Award (Houston), NAACP award, and Hispanic Community Builder Award (Atlanta).

Marvin’s motivation to help people reach their best selves and achieve their personal and professional goals has only grown. He now finds himself providing coaching, education, and workshops to those looking to become more than they could imagine.

He leads initiatives such as the Georgia Tech Executive Career Coaching Program, where he coaches student-athletes on applying their athletic mindset and skills in post-college careers. In September 2025, Marvin will launch the UMKC Community Entrepreneurship Program, a project of the UMKC Bloch Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This program is focused on building entrepreneurial skills and creating economic opportunities in underserved communities across Kansas City.

Marvin also brings his message and methods to a global stage. His recent work in Cape Town, South Africa includes leading business coaching workshops and mentoring young entrepreneurs. These international programs demonstrate his commitment to expanding access to entrepreneurship education and economic empowerment beyond U.S. borders.
